Does this require an internet connection?
Inference runs fully offline after the initial model download (~1–2 GB per task, cached). License validation is periodic with a 7-day offline grace period.
What Mac hardware is required?
macOS 13+ on Apple Silicon (M1 or later). Intel Macs are not supported. Minimum 16 GB RAM recommended for full-body tasks.
Is this approved for clinical diagnosis?
No. ClaraSeg is a decision-support and research tool. All outputs must be reviewed by a qualified clinician. Not FDA cleared or CE marked.
Can I use this for research publications?
Yes. Please cite the original TotalSegmentator paper (Wasserthal et al., 2023) in addition to this software.
How does the license work?
One license key activates up to 2 devices. Free tasks work without a key. Pro tasks require an active Pro subscription.
